The implementation of these traffic laws (decrees, rules, codes of practice, and acts) can significantly reduce the number of road accidents. These laws are enforced by issuing challans in the names of lawbreakers, motivating them to absorb the rules. Penalties and legal wrangling are always powerful deterrents.
